A 15-year-old boy was killed Sunday morning in a shooting in the LeClaire Courts neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.
About 6:50 a.m., someone in a white vehicle crashed into the back of a car the boy was riding in and then fired shots into the vehicle, Chicago Police said.
The boy was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The white vehicle drove off after the shooting and no one was in custody
Area Central detectives were investigating.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not confirmed the death.
