The Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature a 5.65-inch display, whereas the Mi 7 Plus variant will adopt a 6.01-inch display, SD 845 SoC, 12MP + 2MP rear-facing cameras.
We all know that Xiaomi’s next flagship smartphones will undoubtedly be the Xiaomi Mi 7 and the Mi 7 Plus and that they’ll be launched next year. The exact release date of these devices is not clear at the moment, but some Weibo users now have spilt detailed specifications of these handsets. As per the report, the Mi 7 and the Mi 7 Plus will use the Snapdragon 845 processor, as announced by Xiaomi a few days ago. It also reveals information regarding the phones’ screen size as well.
The first smartphone with the Snapdragon 845 will be the Galaxy S9 considering that Samsung is the one that’s manufacturing the chipset for Qualcomm. However, the next to use the Snapdragon 845 could be the Xiaomi’s Mi 7. Additionally, some also believe that last year Xiaomi did not release the Plus version of the Xiaomi Mi 6 because of the shortage of the Snapdragon 835. This time around, Xiaomi is expected announce the Plus version of the Xiaomi Mi 7 Plus.
Going ahead with the specifications of these smartphones, it is believed that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature a 5.65-inch display, whereas the Plus variant will use a 6.01-inch display, with both of them featuring an aspect ratio of 18:9. Furthermore, it is also assumed that there will be at least 6GB of RAM in the Mi 7 compared to last year’s Mi 6. The camera setup is expected to be improved as well, and it might consist of a 12-megapixel (IMX380) sensor + 2-megapixel (IMX350) sensor.
The pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to be around CNY 2,699 (around Rs. 26,285), whereas the Xiaomi Mi 7 Plus is expected to be priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 29,208). We might be able to fetch more details regarding these smartphones in the next few days as they pass the 3C or theTENAA certification in China.
