If you feel the price is still a bit too high for an action camera, you should check out the more affordable HERO5 Black and HERO5 models instead. While the HERO5 Black is currently available for Rs.27,000 in India, the HERO5 can be purchased for Rs.18,000.
The HERO6 Black is GoPro’s current flagship action camera and features a rugged, waterproof body that can take a fair bit of abuse. It uses the company’s custom-designed GP1 processor and is capable of capturing 4K Ultra HD videos at 60fps and 1080p Full HD resolution videos at 240fps. Compared to previous GoPro action cameras such as the HERO5 Black, the HERO6 Black boasts improved dynamic range as well as superior low-light performance. It also comes with a digital zoom feature that could come in handy at times.
While GoPro did not announce new action cameras at CES earlier this week, the company did announce its Mobile OverCapture editing feature for the iOS platform. The feature is part of the latest update to the GoPro app. It lets users convert spherical videos shot on your GoPro camera into a more traditional Full HD clip that you can then share with friends. Owners of Android devices will need to wait a few more months to access the new feature.
