Japan’s state-broadcaster has apologised for erroneously sending out a warning alert about a missile strike.
The alert was sent out via NHK’s Twitter and a specially designed ‘disaster alert’ app and was revoked minutes later.
This comes after ‘human error’ was blamed for an erroneous ballistic missile alert being active in Hawaii for 38 minutes.
