Melania Trump flew from Florida to Washington D. C. to meet Donald after Davos trip. Their meet-up comes amidst rumors of separation.
Melania Trump,47, has been hard to pin down lately, but it looks like she’s currently in Washington DC — just in time to meet Donald Trump,71 as he arrives back in the States after the World Economic Forum. On Jan. 25, the First Lady jetted off to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she only stayed for a brief 28 hours before flying back to the capitol, Daily Mail reported.
Melania’s brief trip to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort raised eyebrows everywhere since she already decided not to accompany her husband to Davos, Switzerland, even though she was initially set to attend. “It was determined there were too many scheduling and logistical issues, so Mrs. Trump will not travel to Davos,” her East Wing communications director, Stephanie Grisham, told CNN about why the President’s wife didn’t head off to Europe .
But this isn’t the only time recently that the couple have been apart. Melania had been staying in a hotel by herself following the news that Donald had an alleged affair in 2006 with Stormy Daniels, 38, White House sources told Daily Mail. “It’s been upsetting and humiliating; her relationship with President Trump has become strained,” sources told the website. But it seemed that Grisham has also slammed these claims of separation in a tweet that asserts Melania is “focused on her family & role as FLOTUS.” But distancing herself from her husband could be considered focusing on the best interests of her family. The alleged affair took place four months after the birth of the couple’s son Barron, 11, so finding out about it might have not only hurt and embarrassed her, but also their kid. Regardless, the First Lady is back in DC, so we’ll just have to wait and see how things pan out for the family.
