Fortnite Season 3 is now live and with it a major update for the consoles. PS4 and Xbox One versions are now locked at 60 FPS. The same is the case with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. However, players can bring it down to 30FPS if they like.
Fortnite Season 3 kicks off right now and it brings with it a major upgrade for the console versions. PS4 and Xbox One consoles are getting Fortnite at 60FPS.
All console versions including Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, and PS4 Pro are locked at 60FPS by default. However, players are given the option of switching to 30FPS if they wish to.
Devs have also added a new hand cannon to the mix which uses heavy ammo. Devs nerfed double jumping on shotguns which means players would now have to reload the weapon after firing and switching quickly.
