Microsoft has launched the fifth generation Surface Pro 2-in-1 in India.
NEW DELHI: Microsoft has launched the fifth generation Surface Pro 2-in-1 in India. The device comes with a starting price tag of Rs 64,999 and is available online on Microsoft Store, Amazon, Flipkart and offline on Croma, Vijay Sales and other authorised stores starting today.
The Surface Pro 2-in-1 is the successor to the Surface Pro 4 which the company launched in 2016. The Surface Pro features a 12.3-inch 10 point multi-touch display with 2736×1824 pixel resolution. The device comes in three variants in terms of the processing power — it is powered by 7th generation Intel Core m3 processor with HD Graphics 615, i5 processor with HD Graphics 620, or i7 with Iris Plus Graphics 640.
The 2-in-1 offers 4GB/8GB/ 16GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of hard drive storage. It comes with 8MP of autofocus rear camera and 5MP front camera for video calling.
The Microsoft Surface Pro offers 165-degree range of motion. The device offers Studio Mode which is inspired by the Surface Studio and helps in sketching, drawing and writing. The device weighs 768 grams and comes with a Surface Pen with 4,096 pressure points. Along with this, the company also claims that the Microsoft Surface Pro comes with an improved battery life. The device promises to offer 13.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. It comes with 1.6W Stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and Stereo microphones. Measuring 292 x 201 x 8.5 mm it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, microSD card reader, Mini DisplayProt and Surface Connect as connectivity options.
