Morrisville, N. C. — A Morrisville man facing charges of statutory rape for incidents last fall saw his criminal problems escalate Tuesday with a second arrest.
Moises Laracuente-Apont, 48, was already being held in the Wake County jail charged with 20 counts of statutory rape of a child under 15 and four counts of indecent liberties with a child after an arrest in December.
The new charges, also for statutory rape, bumped his bond up to $7 million.
Should he be able to raise that money, the conditions of his arrest ban Laracuente-Apont from all contact with his two known victims.
