President Trump to meet the video games industry

At least that’s what the administration wants.
We have already reported in recent days the positions of US President Donald Trump and his entourage concerning the recent and tragic events at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in which a former student killed 17 people, including teachers and students. The President (and others in the administration) has blamed violent video games as the cause behind these shootings, as these products, especially if enjoyed by the young, have a negative influence on their minds and their behaviour in real life.
In light of these recent statements, Trump has announced that he wants to meet some members of the gaming industry in the coming days, as revealed by White House secretary Sarah Sanders, although at the moment it’s not clear what the contents of these meeting are.
We are really curious to find out how some industry giants will react to this invitation, given the relationship between the industry and the current President of the United States. In fact, many of you remember that both Electronic Arts and Take-Two has openly opposed Trump due to the attempts to ban immigration and green card holders from certain countries, according to them, damaged the games industry that needs to look globally for talent.
