Stormy Daniels did not keep dress from Trump encounter
Attorney Michael Avenatti denied that his client, Stormy Daniels, kept the dress she wore during her alleged sexual encounter with President Trump.
«To address the rumor: We DO NOT have a ‘Monica Lewinsky type’ dress,» he said on Twitter. «Thus, there is no dress to be tested for DNA.»
To address the rumor: We DO NOT have a “Monica Lewinsky type” dress. Thus, there is no dress to be tested for DNA. But we are making progress on the assault/stalking that occurred around the same time that Mr. Cohen threatened @intouchweekly magazine in May 2011. #coverup #basta
Over the weekend, Alana Evans, an adult film actress and friend of Daniels, told CNN that Daniels may have kept the dress because it was «actual proof» of the affair, which allegedly happened in 2006.
«I can only speculate the things that may be on that dress, especially if it’s never been washed,” Evans said.
The comments recalled the sex scandal between President Clinton and then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky. A blue Gap dress stained with Clinton’s semen was ultimately used as proof of their relationship, after Lewinsky told her friend Linda Tripp that she saved the dress.
Avenatti previously implied on Twitter that there was further concrete evidence of the relationship between Daniels and Trump.
On Monday, one day after her 60 Minutes interview in which she laid out the details of her affair with Trump, Daniels expanded her lawsuit against the president.
Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen has been added as a defendant, and the new filing argues that the $130,000 hush payment to Daniels before the 2016 election was an illegal campaign contribution.
