Honor on Thursday has announced the arrival of its flagship smartphone Honor 10 during an event in China.t comes with a shiny glossy back panel and obviously comes with a notch on the top of the screen. The flagship also features some newly added AI tweaks.

The smartphone not only looks similar to its sibling Huawei P20 but also the same from inside. It comes with a shiny glossy back panel and obviously comes with a notch on the top of the screen. The flagship also features some newly added AI tweaks. The Honor 10 also sports a dual camera set up and retains the 3.5mm jack. The international launch of the phone is expected to be held in London on May 15.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of onboard storage. The Honor 10 will sport a 5.84-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixel along with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone also comes with a notch on the display.
As far as cameras are concerned, the Honor 10 will arrive with a dual-camera setup on the rear panel with a combination of 16-megapixel+ 24-megapixel secondary and primary camera sensors respectively. The rear cameras also come with a dual LED flash and f/1.8 aperture. The latest addition is its AI Camera branding on the back.
On the front, the Honor 10 houses a 24-megapixel camera sensor for better selfies and video calling purpose. Under the hood, the phone is backed by a 3,400mAh battery which also comes with quick charging support. The company claims that the bundled charger can charge the device up to 50 percent in only 25-minutes.
Honor 10 features with Huawei’s latest AI 2.0 technology, which will allow users to take better portrait selfies using the front camera, it also enhances the face detection in the image gallery. For Audio the flagship sorts a 7.1 multi-channel Hi-Fi audio chip with support for 7-channel sound effects.
The flagship phone will comes with a price tag of CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs 27,000) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant and CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 31,500) for 6GB RAM/128GB inbuild storage model. Honor 10 will be available in three color variant lack, Teal, and Twilight.
Honor 10 will be available for sale in China starting on April 27 across Huawei Mall and other retail partners. The phone will soon be made available in other markets like India as well.
