Cardi B will perform on the sketch comedy show for the first time.
The Black Panther is coming to Saturday Night Live— and everybody is freaking out, especially Leslie Jones.
A new set of promos announcing Saturday’s SNL host Chadwick Boseman sees an exuberant Jones experiencing a number of fangirl moments while standing next to the lead actor of the superhero movie, which has since gone on to become one of the highest grossing films of all time. In one particular instance, she orders Boseman to give more enthusiasm while proclaiming his renowned title as this week’s host.
“No, you’re saying it like it’s not a big deal. It’s a big deal! Chadwick ‘Black Panther’ Boseman is hosting SNL with Cardi B, ya’ll. Do it again!” she instructs Boseman, who is making his first appearance on the sketch comedy show.
Standing opposite of an equally freaked out Cardi B, Jones, proud to be giving the vigilant leader of Wakanda some direction, says: “Yo Cardi, did you see that I just directed Chadwick Boseman?”
The Bronx rapper gushingly responds: “I know man, we goin’ to Wakanda!”
Who’s performing: Multi-platinum selling rapper Cardi will also make her grand debut on SNL fresh off the release of her first studio album Invasion of Privacy, on Friday.

When: SNL will air in its usual timeslot of 11:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
