Railway service has been stopped for almost 3 hours as a man climbed a transmission pole at a station in Chiba Prefecture near Tokyo. Around 30,000 passengers were affected.
Railway service has been stopped for almost 3 hours as a man climbed a transmission pole at a station in Chiba Prefecture near Tokyo. Around 30,000 passengers were affected.
East Japan Railway Company officials say that the man scaled the pole on Saturday night at Makuharihongo station on the JR Sobu line which connects Tokyo and Chiba.
Police and emergency officials came to the scene. After about 2 hours, the man came down.
