Actor drops the name in an Instagram post on Saturday
Oh, that rascal Tom Holland.
The star of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” on Saturday posted an Instagram selfie video from ACE Comic Con in Denver apologizing “for no announcements” — and then promptly held up a tablet revealing the title to the sequel to “Homecoming.”
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” is due in theaters on July 5,2019 and features Holland back as the teenage webslinger.

The film, which introduces Jake Gyllenhaal as the villainous Mysterio, will also be the first solo Spider-Man film to take the hero out of his native New York City. Jon Watts is returning as director.
And since its release comes two months after the still-untitled “Avengers 4,” expect the new film to follow the storyline set up in that final Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero mashup.
As Holland pointed out in his instagram post, “I’m a little confused because I died” — a reference to his apparent fate at the end of last month’s “Avengers: Infinity War.”
