Amazon is back with its Prime Day sale. Unlike last year, this time the Prime Day sale will go on for 36-hours and not 24-hours. The Prime Day sale has kick-started at 12 noon on July 16 and will continue till 12 midnight July 18. For the Prime Day sale, Amazon has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer customers up to 10 per cent instant discount on shopping with their HDFC credit or debit card. Amazon is also offering up to Rs 10,000 cashback on purchases above Rs 50,000 made through HDFC Bank cards. In addition, customers shopping via Amazon Pay wallet will also get back 10 per cent cashback.
The sale, as the name suggests, is exclusive to the Amazon Prime users only. Meaning, to avail the discounted offers, customers will need to subscribe to Amazon Prime. All the products will be available at the lowest prices of all times, Amazon claims. The e-commerce giant is offering heavy discounts across all categories, including smartphones, TVs, appliances and more.
—OnePlus 6 Red Edition goes on sale in India for the first time with a price tag of Rs 39,999. On buying the phone with HDFC credit or debit card customers can get an extra Rs 2,000 discount on the phone. Meaning, they will need to pay Rs 37,999 for the OnePlus 6 Red.
