GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A multiple-car crash and subsequent car fire closed the westbound lanes of I-196 east of College Avenue.
There were no serious injuries reported in the 2 p.m. crash.
Authorities diverted westbound I-196 traffic onto the College Avenue off-ramp while they extinguished the fire and arranged for a tow truck.
