Moments of Triumph are back in Destiny 2, and today Bungie reveals what players will need to do in order to snag some shiny loot, including a new exclusive t-shirt.
As the end of Destiny 2’s first year comes to a close, it’s time for players to take part in the Moments of Triumph, where fans make sure they have experienced the best that Destiny 2 has to offer in year one content. Today, Bungie announced all the feats that players can take on, as well as the rewards they can earn if they complete enough tasks.
The tasks come from all over Destiny 2’s activities, ranging from campaign completion to exotic collecting. The list went live today on Bungie’s website and will run until October 1,2018. There are three main categories for the triumphs: General, Activities, and Event.
The General tab includes: Completing the main and DLC campaigns in Destiny 2, collecting all 45 memory fragments on Mars, collecting 25 exotic weapons and armor, obtaining Sagira’s ghost shell, and reaching rank 50 with the Vanguard.
The Activities tab tasks players with collecting all regional chests, defeating 100 opponents in the Crucible, completing 20 adventures, completing level 7 in Escalation Protocol, reaching Legend in Valor ranking in Season 3, completing the Leviathan raid, and completing the two raid lairs. Players should start working on the Valor rank now, since Bungie is tripling all Valor rank earnings through this week’s reset.
The Event tab seems to be reserved for the Solstice of Heroes event, which Bungie will be discussing more in-depth soon. Rewards for this event include in-game items like a fancy new ghost shell, a sparrow, and emblems. Like previous Moments of Triumph, fans will also be able to earn a code to purchase an exclusive shirt from Bungie’s store.
The Moments of Triumph interface will also be added to the game with the 1.2.3 update, coming later this month. Moments of Triumph is always a fun way to end a year’s worth of content, as it allows players to make sure they’ve tried everything in the game. Even if players do not want the new shirt, it’s always fun to get gear to show off in-game that proves that players are a cut above the rest ahead of the launch of Forsaken.
Destiny 2: Forsaken launches September 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
