Last year, as the two leaders exchanged insults on social media, President Donald Trump repeatedly called Kim “Rocket Man” and “Little Rocket Man.”
The Rocket Man CD became the topic of discussion during Trump’s meeting with Kim during a summit in Singapore last month, according to the Chosun Ilbo, a leading newspaper in South Korea. The other gift was a letter from Trump, Fox said.
During the Singapore summit, Kim reportedly referred to the nickname and Trump asked him if he ever heard “Rocket Man.” Trump then asked Pompeo to take a copy of the CD to give to Kim.
Pompeo went to North Korea for continued denuclearization talks between the two countries, Fox News reported .
