At the July Fourth event on the Coney Island boardwalk, the 32-year-old Las Vegas competitive eater downed 37 hot dogs in 10 minutes, overwhelming runner-up Michelle Lesco, 34, who ate 28 wieners and buns. Although she was able to defend the title for the fourth time, Sudo was not fully satisfied, for she failed to rewrite her personal best of 41 franks and buns.
