Due to recent video leaks recorded at Gamescom 2018, such as yesterday’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider video, Nvidia has decided to put down any allegations and publish an official list of the current power of the 2080 series.
If you remember before, we have posted the graph in which it is shown how better of a generation the RTX 2080 is compared to 1080. You could see the image below, posted during Nvidia’s presentation at Gamescom.
However, the Shadow of the Tomb Raider has showcased an awful performance with a diverging fps of between 30-70, which at first look it doesn’t resemble any solidness. But now, the new image posted by Nvidia claims something different, including the performance with the new DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) enabled. The picture below clearly states that the RTX 2080 is twice the power of any 1080, will support new video games at 4K HDR at higher performance than the GTX 1080.
