Additional factory set to be built in Rahat
PepsiCo will buy carbonated drink-machine maker SodaStream for $3.2 billion, as it battles Coca-Cola for an edge in the health-conscious beverage market. Sodastream CEO Daniel Birnbaum said that not only will Sodastream be staying in Israel, but it expects to expand significantly. He and PepsiCo President Ramon Laguarta announced the deal at a news conference in Tel Aviv on Monday.
