As you can see above, the new video — in Russian — shows a white Google Pixel 3 XL that, at times, is compared to a black Pixel 2 XL. This allows us to conclude that the two phones are nearly identical in size — just as previously assumed. Of course, the Pixel 3 XL has a larger display (allegedly measuring around 6.4 inches) and a prominent notch, but, other than that, its design isn’t changed much.
, this shouldn’t be a problem at all. While almost all other smartphone makers are using dual (or even triple) main cameras on their flagship handsets, Google is sticking to a single rear camera setup for the Pixel 3 XL. If we take into consideration the superb photo and video capabilities of last year’s Pixel 2 XL, this shouldn’t be a problem at all.
We still don’t know when the Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 will be available to buy, but it’s likely that Google plans to accept pre-orders shortly after October 9, or maybe even on that day. Both new smartphones will unsurprisingly run Android 9 Pie out of the box. Are you considering buying any of them?
