The OnePlus 6T, which is expected to launch on October 17th, will be Amazon exclusive. The e-commerce site has just shared a teaser of the handset on its website. The smartphone has been confirmed to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and the teaser further indicates the same. The lines on the image (below) could be a representation of the optical scanner, which will be embedded under the display.
Unfortunately, the page hasn’t highlighted any other feature of the smartphone. However, upon scrolling down, one may see OnePlus’ Type-C earphones with a coming soon tag. For those unaware, OnePlus has already launched the earphones in India with a price tag of Rs 1,490. The earphones will be available for sale alongside the OnePlus 6T and well, now you know where you can buy them.
Talking about the OnePlus 6T, latest leak suggest that the handset will continue to have dual cameras on the rear panel, instead of three. The device is expected to come with the same core specs as the OnePlus 6 ( review), including the Snapdragon 845 SoC and RAM and storage configurations. Earlier reports have also suggested that the OnePlus might experiment with the display of 6T by opting for a waterdrop style notch, just like the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro. The handset is expected to feature 6.41-inch tall Super AMOLED panel bearing an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a resolution of 2,340×1,080 pixels. Apart from this, the company has confirmed to drop the 3.5mm headphone jack from the device. Instead, the smartphone will transmit audio through a USB Type-C charging port.
Other details like the battery, camera hardware, pricing, and availability of the OnePlus 6T is not known at the moment. We expect them to be out soon until then stay tuned to 91mobiles for more updates.
