According to a HuffPo/YouGov survey of 1,000 adults conducted between September 17-18, a large percentage of Americans don’t believe that the allegations against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, if true, should disqualify him from serving on the Supreme Court.
The survey first states: «If the allegation of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh is true, do you think that…» It then provides four options from which to choose. Here’s the breakdown:
74% of Democrats believe that if the alleged crime did occur, it would disqualify Kavanaugh from serving on the Supreme Court, while only 29% of independents and 15% of Republicans agree.
