LG V20 owners on T-Mobile will be happy to know that the wireless carrier has now made the Android 8.0 Oreo update available. The update will be going out in waves over the coming weeks.
T-Mobile LG V20 owners rejoice! The wireless carrier is now seeding the Android Oreo update for the handset. T-Mobile is the last major carrier in the United States to offer the update for the device.
If you are still using the phone be sure to head into the settings section to manually refresh for an update. If you don’t see it immediately, be warned, as it looks like it is going out in waves. The carrier has detailed that in order to prevent network congestion, it has set a daily limit when it comes to downloads. Once that limit is reached, it will no longer offer the update until the next day. This will be a daily occurrence until October 30, when the download restriction will be lifted.
Although the update will be much appreciated by V20 owners, it is still only a silver lining considering that the update is coming a year later and Google’s Android 9.0 Pie has already been announced and released.
