ALABASTER TWP, MI — Two people are dead following a head-on collision on U. S. 23 in Iosco County.
The crash between a car and a box truck occurred about noon on Friday, Oct. 5, on U. S. 23 between Dyer and Keystone roads in Alabaster Township, confirmed a sergeant at the Michigan State Police West Branch Post.
The sergeant said troopers were still on scene as of 2 p.m. Friday and U. S. 23 remained closed to traffic.
Names of the deceased were not available.
