Another interesting addition coming in iOS 12.1 to the camera allows users to adjust in real-time, the depth in pictures taken in portrait mode with the iPhone XS iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The User Guide also tells you all about the improvements being made to Apple Music in iOS 12.1, including new artist pages, the ability to find out what songs your friends are listening to on the app, a list of the top 100 songs in the world, and a way to search for song titles by typing in the lyrics.
The App Store listing reveals that the User Guide weighs in at a rather hefty 400 pages. But it does provide easy to understand directions on how to implement some of the new capabilities you’ll have available on your iPhone once iOS 12.1 is released. And that is expected to take place next week, possibly after Apple’s new product event next Tuesday. We should see a new Apple iPad Pro, the Apple Pencil 2 and more introduced at the event.
