Just one day after 11 people died in the horrific Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, Queens state Senate hopeful John Liu posted a bizarre video noshing on what appears to be a pastrami sandwich while urging Americans not to “point fingers” in the wake of the tragedy.
“Truly horrific the tragedy in Pittsburgh yesterday. We have problems, but rather than point fingers, we need to come together and figure out how to move forward,” a napkin-bibbed Liu says in the 20-second clip.
Gunman Robert Bowers on Saturday killed 11 people in a hail of gunfire at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh in the worst anti-Semitic attack in U. S. history, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
Liu’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
