OnePlus has already announced that it will be launching the Type-C Bullets earphones alongside the OnePlus 6T smartphone, which will be debuting on October 29. But this is just one of the things that will be arriving alongside the smartphone. The firm has now confirmed that it will also be launching a new backpack with OnePlus 6T. Called ‘OnePlus Explorer Backpack’ the new shoulder bag looks more compact and has a modern design as compared to the Travel Backpack that was launched alongside OnePlus 5T.
Confirming the news on OnePlus forum, Donna L, the product manager of the new backpack said ‘As you all know, we take pride in the design of all our products, and designing high-quality backpacks is just as important to us as designing phones. Since we spend so much time on the road, our team here at OnePlus has been trying them out and we hope you like them as much as we do!’
The Explorer Backpack is touted for its ‘minimalistic’ design and is said to have multiple compartments including a ‘nifty secret pocket’ at the back to keep smartphones, passport and other such items. There is also a particular department to keep wet umbrellas and clothes alongside a water bottle pocket.
OnePlus forum states that the new backpack is tear and scuff-resistant and uses CORDURA classic fabric for our Slate Black design. Another colour variant in which it will launch is Morandi Green.
As for the security, the OnePlus Explorer Backpack has a single zipper, a fold-over cover and a magnetic FIDLOCK, which makes it easier to open the backpack single-handedly.
For now, the OnePlus Travel Backpack costs Rs 3,990 for both Space Black and Morandi Gray colour variants. So, expect the price of the Explorer Backpack more if not the same. OnePlus adds that more details will be revealed at the time of the OnePlus 6T launch.
