The investigation into suspicious packages sent to Democratic figures, prominent party supporters and CNN this week is focusing on leads in Florida, a federal law enforcement source said Thursday.
The parcels, containing apparent pipe bombs, have been sent to former President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Rep. Maxine Waters, former Attorney General Eric Holder, Democratic donor George Soros, actor Robert De Niro — and to former CIA director John Brennan via CNN’s Manhattan office.
All listed Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Florida office as the return address, according to the FBI — and the package intended for Holder wound up being rerouted there, where it was found Wednesday.
