Police have released the name of a man killed earlier this week after he was hit by a vehicle just east of Howell.
Anthony J. «Tony» Krawczyk, 83, from Howell, was killed Monday while he was walking across Grand River Avenue near Meadowview in Genoa Township and was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation. Once the investigation is completed, it will be turned over to the Livingston County Prosecutors Office for review, Mike Murphy, Livingston County Sheriff Mike Murphy, said Thursday.
«They’ll have to determine if the driver was negligent in any way,» Murphy said.
A memorial gathering and mass for Krawczyk woll take place starting at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 9086 Hutchins Rd. in White Lake, according to an obituary from Dignity Memorial. Internment takes place at 12:30 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery at 4401 Nelsey Rd. in Waterford.
