Rockstar Games stated that this isn’t something to sweat over. Moreover, the contents of the Ultimate Edition have a direct link to the player’s profile. In-game bonuses of this Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition are also included via profiles.
Furthermore, Rockstar confirmed that once Red Dead Online goes live all additional content will be accessible. While a reason behind a false notification showing wasn’t given but the content won’t get compromised.
