Xiaomi Launches Mi TV 4 65-Inch Smart LED TV With 4K Panel, HDR10 Support And Other Features

Xiaomi Launched the Mi TV 4 65-inch model in China, and has offered the slim, bezel-less TV for sale as well. Here are the details.
Xiaomi has launched another variant in the Mi TV 4 lineup. The just announced Mi TV 4 features a big 65-inch panel and other features that make it a powerful Smart TV. The 65-inch LED TV now joins the 32-inch, 43-inch, 55-inch and 75-inch models.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 5 65-inch launched in China, and the company appears to be limiting the sale in its home market for now. However, Xiaomi did launch several Mi TV 4 models in India recently. Hence the company may soon launch the 65-inch and the 75-inch models in India. Almost all Xiaomi LED TVs sport near bezel-less display, ultra-slim and thin designs.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch has a 65-inch screen when measured diagonally. The LED TV sports a 4K resolution panel. In other words, the display resolution of the Mi TV 4 65-inch model can reach 2,160 x 3,840 pixels. The panel offers a dynamic response of 8ms. The TV also supports HDR10
Surprisingly, despite the impressive resolution, Xiaomi is sticking to a 60Hz refresh rate. Usually lower refresh rates can impact high-speed content. However, Xiaomi may have deployed some technique to compensate for the motion blur. The other specifications include an impressive but pretty standard 178 degree viewing angle. The TV is quite slim with near invisible bezels. The TV is 7.5mm at the edges, but the bottom is thick to accommodate all the electronics and the speakers.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch Smart LED TV packs capable hardware to deserve the Smart tag. The TV houses a 64-bit Amlogic chipset. The processor is clocked at 1.5GHz. The TV also has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The processor, RAM and internal storage is quite sufficient to run almost all Android apps and several Android games smoothly.
The Mi TV 4 65-inch model boasts of a stainless steel design with a brushed metal finish and blue-green line that runs on the edges. This lends the TV a dual-tone finish that should look premium. Xiaomi has embedded two 8W speakers in the TV. The TV supports DTS HD and Dolby Audio technology. Connectivity options on the TV include dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an S/PDIF port, AV input ports, and an analog antenna port as well.
As with all other Xiaomi TVs, the Mi TV 4 65-inch Smart LED TV also gets the updated PatchWall UI. The PatchWall UI recently received several important features, but buyers would certainly appreciate the ability of the interface to collate online and broadcasted content.
The PatchWall UI improves with each use and in time, is able to suggest relevant content. The software has Xiao AI integration. Additionally, Xiaomi provides a simplistic looking but quite powerful and effective remote that sports a voice command input function.
Xiaomi has priced the Mi TV 4 65-inch Smart LED TV at CNY 5,999. This roughly translates to Rs. 63,000. Interestingly, the price is only marginally higher than the 55-inch model that sells in China. Xiaomi will sell the 65-inch model starting today. However, pre-orders for the same began on October 26.
Xiaomi has not confirmed international availability of the Mi TV 4 65-inch Smart LED TV. But Xiaomi did launch the 32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch models of the Mi TV 4 in India recently. Hence, it could launch the large-screen variants as well. We will surely update our readers about new developments.
