Google has been experiencing a variety of bugs in its new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices lately, from a random second notch appearing on the screen to speaker distortion. Fortunately, the firm has announced that it has a fix inbound for its memory management issues that have been causing intermittent crashes for background applications.
Users have noted that multitasking on the Pixel 3 and 3 XL has been difficult, due to a bug in the smartphone’s memory management. Some devices are unable to keep background applications open while particularly RAM-intensive applications, like the camera software, are running in the foreground.
