Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Classic Mode is the game’s single-player mode that pits players against a series of fighters in their own stages. In the video below, Arekkz takes on three of the bosses in the mode – Giga Bowser, Galleom, and Monster Hunter’s Rathalos.
The boss you’ll face off against will vary depending on who you choose to play as. In this instance, we get a gander at Duck Hunt facing down Rathalos, Captain Falcon battling Giga Bowser, and Wolf thrashing Galleom.
According to Arekkz, Rathalos uses some of Monster Hunter’s mechanics, dropping pitfall traps as well as a Deku Nut that you can use as a flash bomb.
This isn’t Rathalos’ first outing from the world of Monster Hunter. The behemoth popped its head into Final Fantasy 14 in a crossover event earlier this year.

Meanwhile, you can take a look at some of our own multiplayer gameplay below as well.
Nintendo dropped a huge load of information about the title during its Direct a couple of weeks ago, including news on DLC, amiibo functionality, and additional fighters .
