A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of a person who shot a dolphin that washed up on Manhattan beach.
An examination showed the dolphin died from a bullet wound, Marine Animal Rescue announced on its Facebook page on Friday, Nov. 16.
“There is NO excuse for such brutality against these beautiful animals,” the non-profit organization said.
Peter Wallerstein of the Marine Animal Rescue said the dolphin was found on Nov. 8, KTLA 5 reported.
