A New Jersey college student who was the designated driver for his friends was hit by an impaired driver — and died from his injuries, police said Tuesday.
Michael Sot, who was a 20-year-old sophomore at the College of New Jersey, was critically injured early Sunday morning when David Lamar V, 22, crossed a center line and slammed into Sot’s car in a head-on collision that injured seven others, three critically, authorities said.
Sot died two and a half days later.
