Dec. 7 (UPI) — President Donald Trump will nominate William Barr as the next U. S. attorney general, he confirmed Friday.
Barr, who served as attorney general under late President George H. W. Bush, has criticized the Russia investigation and supported Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey.
«He was my first choice since Day One,» Trump said on the White House South Lawn.
