President once again urges Democrats to back his demands for wall across Mexico rderbo.
President Donald Trump has hit out at the Democrats refusing to back his demands for additional funding for his border wall amid the partial government shutdown, claiming their own voters were suffering the most.
The partial shutdown is expected to resume for a sixth day after Congress reconvenes on December 27 over Trump’s demands for $5 billion for his proposed wall across the U. S./Mexico border.

As a result of the shutdown, around 400,000 federal employers and around 350,000 “non-essential” federal workers at unfunded agencies who have been furloughed will not be paid after December until the shutdown finishes.
Trump has again urged the Democrats to agree to his funding demands, while suggesting a majority of the workers going without pay are also Democrats.
“Have the Democrats finally realized that we desperately need Border Security and a Wall on the Southern Border,” Trump tweeted.
