At the launch, Xiaomi announced that they will bring a 5G variant of the Mi MIX 3 later in its product life cycle, which led the world of technology enthusiasts to wonder how Xiaomi would achieve that, given that MIX 3 debuted with the Snapdragon 845 chip accompanied with the Gigabit-class X20 LTE modem.
