Quietly previewing “The Wife” months back, Sony Pictures Classics recognized their selected invitees all predicted Glenn a winner. The movie just blossomed into 150 more theaters.

“Green Book,” with marquee names Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, started similarly. But before it released to the public, Bryan Bantry, who invites special people to special screeners, said, “You must see this movie.” And so it began.
