A man was charged with capital murder for the killing of a 7-year-old who was fatally shot inside a moving car last month while out with her family in Texas, police said Sunday.
Eric Black Jr., 20, admitted to taking part in the fatal shooting of Jazmine Barnes, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
“Investigators are continuing to pursue evidence that could possibly lead to other suspects being charged in this case,” the statement said.
