Recent data from Capcom shows fans are excited for the launch of Resident Evil 2, as the new ‘One-Shot’ demo has already surpassed one million downloads globally.
This past Friday, Capcom released its timed demo for Resident Evil 2 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, allowing fans a chance to test out the reimagining of the 1998 PlayStation survival-horror classic. With a finite amount of time to pick up the demo, which is only available until January 31st, and the close proximity of the full game’s release, it’s no wonder a large number of both long-time fans and newcomers have downloaded the demo over the weekend.
In a matter of days, the Resident Evil 2 One-Shot demo has already surpassed the one million downloads milestone.
