India is a market that’s exploding in popularity, especially when it comes to more budget-oriented devices. It’s a country that as a whole is less receptive to $1,000 flagships so companies like OnePlus and Xiaomi have amassed large followings with high powered, budget smartphones.
Xiaomi has announced a new device called the Redmi Go, featuring Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. It features a 5-inch display with a 720p resolution, a Snapdragon 425 processor, 1GB of RAM, a choice of 8GB or 16GB of storage with a microSD slot, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
