Poco has just teased on its social media handle the arrival of the Poco F2. No hints or teasers or yet, so you have to rely on the rumours.
Poco has been active since February 2020 and it made a huge impact in the budget smartphone space with the Poco X2. However, the brand’s original hero, the Poco F1, is yet to see a successor and when that happens is anyone’s guess. Numerous leaks and rumours have so far suggested that the Poco F2 might be another rebranded Redmi phone from China. While we were pondering over that, Poco’s global team has just hinted at the F2’s launch.
Hold on, before you jump in excitement, there’s still no launch date or teaser for the F2. All the GIF says is “Wake up Poco” (Poco’s marketing guys are geniuses). If we fuse this with the previous leaks, chances are that Poco could soon announce the F2 via an online event, similar to how its parent company Xiaomi has been launching phones in the COVID-19 lockdown period.
