Meteorologists are tracking a system in the Atlantic that could become a tropical cyclone in the next few days.
The National Hurricane Center announced on Wednesday that Tropical Storm Isaias has formed in the Atlantic.
As of Thursday morning, the storm is slowing down. It is headed toward the Dominican Republican Thursday morning.
It should make landfall around Saturday or Sunday and hit North Carolina by Monday. The coast of North Carolina could be impacted, but it is not yet clear based on most recent models.
