Ahead of the premiere of Bill & Ted Face The Music, franchise star Keanu Reeves would like to set the record straight about the iconic Bill & Ted duo. You know, the stoner guys who travel through time — but if you ask Reeves, we’ve been getting it all wrong since the start. Despite what audiences may have believed for decades, Reeves insists that his character Ted Theodore Logan and Alex Winter‘s Bill S. Preston Esquire are not really the stoner bros we’ve come to know and love. In an interview with AP Entertainment yesterday, Reeves insisted that Bill and Ted are keeping it clean, and that their dialogue and outlook are just part of their personalities, not a result of lighting up.
