The iCloud Passwords extension is now available to download on Google Chrome Web Store on both Mac and Windows devices.
Apple has quietly introduced the iCloud password manager for Google Chrome on Windows and Mac. The iCloud Passwords is available as an extension on the browser that will let you use passwords stored in the iCloud Keychain, allowing you to sign in to websites seamlessly between Mac and Windows devices, and even the iPhone. The new extension will integrate with Google Chrome browser so well that even the suggested passwords offered will be saved into iCloud Keychain. This also means the suggested passwords on the Safari browser will be available on Google Chrome via iCloud Passwords. You can head to the Chrome Web Store and download the new iCloud Passwords extension right away. It will need the latest version of Google Chrome browser on your Windows or Mac computer. Notably, the M1-native Google Chrome version also supports the extension, in case you were wondering.
