The county reported 403 patients hospitalized with coronavirus-related infections as of Wednesday. That’s 22 fewer hospitalizations than the previous day.
The OC Health Care Agency reported 160 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, March 3, raising the total number of COVID-19 cases there have been in the county to 246,980. An estimated 3,315 cases of the virus have been recorded in Orange County in the last 14 days. There were 14 new deaths from the coronavirus reported on Wednesday, making the total number of people in the county who have died from the virus at least 3,966.
