Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Monday issued an ominous warning of “serious consequences” to businesses that have spoken out against a new Georgia election law as Republicans continue to find new ways to boycott and target those companies. The law, passed by Georgia’s GOP-controlled legislature and signed by Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, comes after Trump convinced most Republican voters that his loss in November was due to widespread fraud.
